Josephine E. Foster

Jo Ellen Foster went to join her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 22, 2012. She passed peacefully from complications of Huntington’s disease in her home, with all of her loved ones beside her. She was born March 18, 1930 to Beula (Hansen) and John Denson in Austin, Texas.

Her passions were that of a homemaker, caring for her special daughter Kathy, her faith, her animals, and her brilliant paintings. She especially enjoyed entertaining guests with song, piano and organ.

She is survived by her children, Douglas Charles Foster III and wife, Libby, John Stephen Foster and wife, Sherry, Kathy Foster, and Sharon Foster; grandchildren, Heidi Love and Chris Griffin, Piper Sarad and Daron, Michael Foster, Britany Foster, Victoria Foster and Douglas Charles Foster IV; and by her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Addie, and Lilly Kate.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2012 at Friendship Creekside Fellowship, 14455 FM 1826 with Pastor Marvin Petzolt officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery at 14501 N. IH-35 in Pflugerville, Texas.
