Josephine A. "JoAnn" Sallee, 77, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2007. She was born on July 15, 1929, to Grady and Erie Herring in Runnels County, near Ballinger, Texas. She has been a resident of Austin since 1971. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Warren Sallee. She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Hertel; son, Randy Sallee and his wife Sherri and her daughter Lacey, all of Houston. She is also survived by her niece and nephew Linda Sledge and Wayne Blue of Stephenville; and numerous other nieces and nephews. A memorial service for JoAnn Sallee will be held on Friday, June 15 at 4:00 PM at Lakeway Church, 2203 Lakeway Blvd., Austin, TX, 78734. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Humane Society or SPCA.
