Juanita Sanchez Esparza

Juanita was born on December 8th, 1953. She moved to Austin, TX where she met her husband John Esparza and started a family. She raised her children to believe in God and all his works. She never lost her faith and always trusted in God. She was kind, resilient and always had the right words to comfort you or challenge you, she always knew what you needed and supported your dreams and encouraged you to be your best self. No matter the situation she was ready for the challenge. Forever free spirited, she was always ready to be the life of the party and was always ready to lighten anyone’s spirit. Her smile and laugh were contagious, it was hard not to be happy when you heard her laugh. She enjoyed getting away whether it was a day trip or a family vacation. She loved her family and made it a point to be present for every occasion that she could. She brought families together and gave them a sense of where they came from and where our families started. When she hugged you, you could feel that she was genuinely happy to see you and was glad that you were there. Her Kindness, Love, and Faith is something that will truly be missed and carried in every heart of anyone that met her.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Anastacio and Victoria Sanchez.; Brothers & Sisters Fortino Sanchez, Martin Sanchez, Mary S Villanueva, Martinita S Cruz, Avelina S Trinidad, Felicita S Gandara, Josefina S Salinas. She is survived by her husband John D Esparza; children Florinda S Esparza, Stephanie S Esparza, Marcos S Esparza; Grandchildren: Andres Casarez Jr., Cameron E Casarez, Isabella D Casarez, Nevaeh A Esparza, Adrianna C Esparza; Brothers and Sister: Domingo R Sanchez, Anastacio Sanchez Jr., Natividad S Lopez, Valentina S Lopez, Santos S Castillo, Victoria S Guerrero and Elena S Martinez.

The family requests that no black to be worn as Juanita wanted everything to be colorful.

A visitation for Juanita will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752. A recitation of the holy rosary will occur Friday, August 9, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 10104 Hill Ln, Manor, TX 78653. A graveside service will occur Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
