She is survived by her husband, Rogers Douglas; her children, Kathy, Kelly, Doug, Bobby and Jeff; her grandchildren, Travis, Whitney, Aubrey, Trent, Leah and Mason; her great-grandchildren, Sienna, Graham and Kate.
Judith was born on August 8, 1935 in Dallas Texas. She attended undergraduate school at SMU. At the age of 42 she attended UT Law School and graduated Summa Cum Laud. She was a smart independent woman who was proud to be a yellow dog Democrat.
Her law practice focused mainly on helping the disadvantaged. She was also a very talented artist and home decorator. She had a natural ability to transform any house into a home with her quirky, whimsical style.
She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue.
