Judson F. Cary, age 99, of Austin, passed away January 19, 2009. He was born in Tunkhannock, PA on May 14, 1909. Judson graduated from Penn State University in 1931, with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for the Federal Highway Department in Austin, Texas, for 38 years, retiring in 1973 as Division Engineer, Head of Office. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mildred Stone Cary. Judson is survived by his son, Jud Cary of Horseshoe Bay; daughter, Judy Reese of Pearland; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Austin Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to savemuny.com
