Judy Kay Cade

Judy Kay (Stone) Cade, age 75, of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026. Judy was a lifelong, native Austinite born December 22, 1951. She was a compassionate daughter, sister, wife, friend, and neighbor who always had a kind word to share and a story to tell.

Judy graduated from McCallum High School in 1970. After high school, she followed a career path that included Austin ISD as well as the Federal Government. After 30 years of service, Judy retired from the United States Treasury.

Judy married Charles Cade on July 9, 1977. Judy and Charles were married for over 30 years. They shared many memories including travels across the United States to visit popular historical and geographical sites.

Judy looked forward to a good meal with others, prided herself on having well-manicured hands, cheered for her football teams and loved dogs. She enjoyed watching classic black and white TV shows and comedians, listening to talk shows, and solving puzzle games on her Kindle.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cade; her parents, Ray and Blanche Stone; and her brother, Brian Stone. She is survived by her sister, Connie Kinnard and husband J.R.; and brother, Gary Stone and wife Vicki; and numerous nieces and nephews.
