Julia Allen, age 96, of Austin passed away on December 22, 2009. She was born December 24, 1912 in Lockhart, Texas. Julia graduated from Seton School of Nursing in 1934. She was a private duty nurse and then went to work at Seton in 1937. She retired as a Seton operating room nurse in 1985. Julia was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church since its inception. She is survived by one son, James Allen and his wife Dawn; and two grandchildren, Hailey and Amanda. Rosary will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2009 at Assumption Cemetery. Julia Allen requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Salvation Army, 4216 S.
