Justin Landon Metzger

Justin Landon Metzger, 32, died Friday, March 25, 2016, at Crystal Beach. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Michelle Metzger; his mother and stepdad, Debbie Walsh and Howard Walsh; his father and stepmother, Kris Metzger and Marti Metzger; his grandmother, Shirley Gutekunst; his grandfather Lee Metzger, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Justin was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up in Moorpark, CA with a close group of friends. He then attended flight school and pursued his dream of flying around the world; he was employed as a Captain with Express Jet Airlines. Justin and his wife Sherry met in Austin and recently were married in the Bahamas and took a three week honeymoon to Puerto Rico, cruised to many islands and Hawaii. He had a sense of humor no one can compare to; he always knew how to make people laugh instantly and was very quick on his feet with a good joke. He enjoyed any type of sporting event, and was a huge Buffalo Bills, LA Dodgers and LA Lakers fan. He had a passion for photography, travel and was always seeking out new adventures. He took his last flight to Heaven and will be missed by so many family and friends.

Memorial services will be on Thursday, March 31, viewing will begin at 1pm followed by the service at 2pm for Justin Metzger at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis, 411 Ranch Road 620 South in Lakeway.
