Mom, I just found this website. It makes me happy when I read what other family/friends wrote you. It's been almost 6 months since I found out I lost you, but yet it still seems like yesterday. It's grandma Marie’s birthday today.....I miss both of y'all so much. I remember when you would tell me how you missed your mom and now I understand your pain even more. I hope you are at peace now with grandma Marie & Da. The cats and me miss you. I’m really grateful I have them here with me. They both sleep in the “big bed” with me and I talk to them all the time like you did. We miss you and love you. Rest In Peace mom ❤️💕 I wish we had more time....

Since today is your birthday, it seems like a good reason to post some of my thoughts- well, feelings actually. No one told me you were gone but I suspected something was wrong when I didn’t hear from you and your phone wasn’t answered for a long time. I eventually found this site and learned the sad story. Kathy, you were a genuine person who made the most of a challenging life. I still miss your laugh and frank observations on so many things. For over 30 years we chatted, sometimes late into the night, either on the phone or in person during our occasional visits. My friend, I pray that you are in a better place today.
