She was married to Lou Picone on October 18, 1977 and they were married for 42 years. Kathy had a career in Accounts Receivables for Cisco Food Service and was a member of Onion Creek Baptist Church. Kathy had a passion for animals, racing, visiting Roswell, New Mexico, and bible study.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Mary Rycroft and her sister, Patricia Danes. She is survived by her husband, Lou Picone; children, Chris Reed, Tammie Reed, Daniel Reed, and Kimberly Reed; and sister Barbara Colee.
A memorial service honoring Kathy will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Onion Creek Baptist Church at 8214 East Riverside in Austin, Texas .
