Kathryn Annelies von Steiger Kathryn von Steiger lost her long battle with depression on Wednesday, May 18, 2005. She was 27 years old. Kathryn was an intelligent and compassionate being. She possessed a loving and sparkling wit. Kathryn not only had a great admiration for her daughter, but also contributed to the lives of all she met. She was a cat lover and devoted much of her time to her love of books, Celtic things, stamping, and the French Language. She will be greatly missed by family and friends who knew and loved her. She leaves behind her daughter, Vivian Kuykendall. She also leaves behind her father, Jost Craig von Steiger, mother and stepfather, Pamela and Paul Johnson, sisters, Chantel von Steiger and Julia Whittington, stepsister, Ruth Johnson, a very extended family, and many beloved friends. A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2005 from 6-8pm, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 11am at Bannockburn Baptist Church, 7100 Brodie Lane. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Austin, TX. A college fund has been set up for Vivian with the Tomorrow’s College Investment Plan.
