Kaydence suffered from a rare genetic disorder called CDG-1a. Kaydence only lived to be seven months old, and she was hospitalized for six months of that time. Even though she endured so much every day, she still had that beautiful smile on her face. Kaydence taught people the meaning of life and to never take anything for granted. Our baby girl is up in heaven now, with no more suffering or pain, and we will meet her once again.
She is survived by her parents, Cameron and Haley (Coffey) Pierce of Pensacola, Florida, and the rest of her loving family and friends.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin. Burial will follow at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cameron and Haley Pierce for the CDG Research Foundation.
