Larry Jehl

Larry was born on January 14, 1949. He was preceded in eternity by his parents, Roland and Sue Jehl, and his nephew, Jeffrey Roland Lamb.

Larry had a love for family, for people, and for life that was unimaginable, especially considering his life long struggle with a physical and mental handicap. If you were family, or if you had befriended him, he remembered your phone number, address and birthdate, forever. Any and all players and their stats at college and professional level sports were in his vast memory bank. Oftentimes, we referred to him as the "rain man".

Larry knew no strangers; he engaged everyone he passed in conversation, telling them all about his family and his sports acumen. Everyone loved Larry, and his smile was infectious.

We long for the day when we will, again, see him, our parents, and Jeffrey in heaven, praising Jesus together.

Larry is survived by his older brother, Roland Jehl, Jr, his younger sister, Patty Jehl Lamb, his sister in law, Cynthia Record Jehl, his brother in law, John Lamb, his nephews, Evan Jehl and Michael Lamb, and his niece, Bailey Jehl.
