She was born in Oroville, California on August 23, 1956 and passed away September 23, 2013 in Austin, Texas. Laura married John C (Jay) Greene in 1975, and their son Ian was born April 27, 1979 in Los Angeles. She later married William Pickell in Chico, California, and their son Drew was born in Chico in 1986. She has been an Austin, Texas resident from 1987 to date.
She is survived by both sons, siblings Robert (Lona), Richard (Elen), and Kathy (Eddie) of Chico, George (Debbie) of Flagstaff; mother Joanne Gerson of Chico; stepdaughters Lisa & Ashley Pickell of Austin.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel, North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas.
