

God called him home, and Leo peacefully entered into eternal rest at 12:04 P.M. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Leo Melton King was born on July 1, 1943 to the late Hettie Lee Jackson and Lonnie Melvin King in Pleasanton, TX.
After graduating from Pleasanton High School in 1961, Leo enlisted in the United States Air Force. He became a jet engine mechanic and served honorably for 26 years.
Leo enjoyed traveling, playing and talking sports, and spoiling his grandchildren. He was a caring and generous man, and will be remembered for his love of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs.
He was predeceased by his brothers Lonnie Wayne King and Anthony Ray King.
Loved ones left to cherish his memories are: his daughters Ursula Reneè (Kim) Lash of Raleigh, NC and Adrienne Denise (Fred) McGill of San Antonio, TX; his son Keith Allen King of Goldsboro, NC; one grandson, Kenneth Demarcus King; one granddaughter, Kayden Nicole McGill; one great-granddaughter, Taziah Nayonna King; two sisters, Hettie Lamar (James) Watson of Houston, TX and Myrtle Annette (Michael) Toliver King of Pleasanton, TX; one brother, Lawrence Bert (Irma) Cole of Pleasanton, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
