Whenever I think about my father-in-law, it brings a smile to my face.  He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He did that very well. Sometimes I laughed till my belly hurt even though he told me the same joke more than once. I know that he loved me. He always asked how I felt, and said he was always praying for me.

Although I will miss his sweet face and hear his jokes and laughter, I am happy to know that he is now with the love of his life, his wife Sarah and those he loved that passed before him.

Alicia and Oscar, may your pain someday lessen as time goes on, remembering happy memories.
