

Lillian Reither Boriskie was born April 22, 1947. She was the first of five children born to Annie Reither and Raymond Reither of Austin, Texas. On March 2nd, in the wee morning hours while holding on to her cousin, Evelyn Brown Hanson's hand, Lillian rejoiced her way into heaven. Evelyn sang the songs she loved to hear. She passed away at Nacogdoches Medical Center.
She graduated from Johnston High School in Austin, Tx and attended college at the University of Texas.
While attending high school she took her first job at Shoppers World in Austin. After graduating from high school she worked at Texas State Bank using her shorthand and typing skills She often said she typed 100 words a minute with few or no mistakes. She often recalls the event of the of the University shootings, when the shooting began saying her life was spared that day. She later worked for Behrans Pharmaceutical in Austin before moving to Biloxi, Mississippi. It was at Biloxi where she would work as a manager for Burger King for over 25 years and retired. Lillian attended the United Pentecostal Church and was one of the original members of Promiseland in Austin. She was baptized in Jesus name by Rev. Kenneth Phillips.
Lillian loved God and her favorite book in the Bible was Acts. She helped with the Sunday school sidewalk ministry with her Mom and sisters Pam and Gina where they handed out Bible scriptures to the children.. It was Lillian's idea to pass out donuts and orange juice because you cannot feed the soul if their stomachs hungry.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Boriskie; her mother and father, Annie and Raymond Reither.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Boriskie; grandson Dylan and granddaughter Shae Boriskie; and great granddaughter Imani. Her four siblings, Charles Reither and wife, Sheila of Jacksonville, Tx; Sandee Bradshaw and Frank of Hutto, Tx; Regina Reither of Grapeland, Tx; and Pamela Fletcher and Gary of Grapeland, Tx. Nephews, Clyde Eilers and Ruby of Kyle, Tx, Justin Fletcher and Crystal of Grapeland, Tx, and Aaron Keller and Renee of Attalla, Alabama; Niece, Daisy Fletcher of Grapeland, Tx; Cousins, Evelyn Brown Hanson and Rick Brown. She has many more nieces,nephews and cousins too numerous to mention.
A special thanks to nephew, Clyde Eilers for funeral arrangements. Cousins Evelyn Brown Hanson and family and Rick Brown and family for donating the grave plot in Lillian's honor. Also, Frank and Sandee Bradshaw for the clothing and contribution for the funeral services.
