

Lillie Griffin Eyler was born November 13, 1932 and passed away May 3, 2013. Lillie is survived by her wonderful husband, Lee Eyler, her daughter, Janice Embrey Brown, her husband Barry, her son, David Embrey, his wife, Barbara, her daughter Karen Tubbs, her step-daughter, Gloria Davis, her husband Earl, her step-daughter, Martha Eyler. Her grandchildren are Cameron Eyhorn, his wife Elizabeth, Logan Eyhorn, his best friend and mate Mari Takayama, Adron Eyhorn, and his wife Kate, Mallory Eyhorn and her best friend and mate, Bentley Hibbard and Travis Embrey and his wife, Ali, Maura Davis and Annmarie Davis. Lillie is also survived by three great grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah and Chloe Eyhorn. Lillie was preceded in death by her son, Paul Cameron Embrey
Lillie attended college late in life and received her teaching degree. She taught Home Economics at Westlake High School in Austin. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Lillie will be deeply missed and leaves a legacy of the value of learning with all those that knew her.
A visitation will be held from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Monday , the 6th of May 2013, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Services will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday , the 7th of May in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX.
