Lillie Mae "Lil" Adams, 75, of Austin, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2011. She was born February 3, 1936, in Isola, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Mary and Thomas Wright. She proudly served in the U.S. Air Force where she met the love of her life, Dwaine. They were married on December 28, 1958, and had two very beloved sons, Thomas and David. Lil was successful in several different careers throughout her lifetime and retired from the Visiting Angels organization in 2009 as an elder caregiver. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 30th of March 2011 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
