Linda G. Dove

August 5, 1940 - March 27, 2014

Born to Earl and Thelma Zirkle on August 5, 1940 in Santa Anna, Texas, Linda graduated from Coleman High School (Go Blue Cats!) in 1958. Linda met and married Life Nathan Dove 1961 in Abilene, Texas. She spent spent many years living around the world as a military wife. They settled in Austin, Texas in January 1970.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Life (Lin) Dove; daughter, Leslie Ann Dove Urbanovsky and son-in-law, Jeff Urbanovsky; son, Leif Alan Dove and daughter-in-law, Penny Pine Dove; and "Granny's" beloved grandchildren, Morgan Lynne Urbanovsky, Mitchell Mason Urbanovsky, Natalie Gail Dove, and Shelby Kate Dove.

Mom, Granny, Linda, neighborhood mom to many, sister, daughter, cousin, friend, aunt, football mom, drill team mom, awesome cook, loving woman, sister-in-law, angel to many. Linda's life will be celebrated for evermore. The family thanks all of those who have been so helpful, thoughtful, and loving through this time.

A memorial service is planned for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Bee Creek United Methodist Church, located at 3000 Bee Creek Road in Spicewood, Texas 78669 to celebrate the love and lessons that Linda Gail Zirkle Dove shared with all of those blessed to know her in life. Casual BBQ will be served at the church following the service for a time to visit. All are welcome to move to down the road half a mile (4409 R.O. Drive) to Leif and Penny Dove's house after to continue visiting.
