

Linda I. Pedro. 59, of Austin died Tuesday, June 29 at Seton Northwest Hospital in Austin. She was born on March 30, 1951, to Robert Nuckolls and Georgia Renick (Teague) in San Antonio. She lived in Austin for almost her entire life. Linda worked at the State Comptroller’s office for nearly 25 years. She was greatly committed to her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel, ride horses, make others laugh and, of course, drink Dr. Pepper! Granna enjoyed spending the day in the kitchen making brownies with her grandchildren. Her soul would truly radiate through her eyes. Her faith and spirituality were very important to her. John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Survivors include her father, Robert Nuckolls, step-mother, Denise Nuckolls; siblings, Bonnie Branding-Islas, Laura Cobo, Jackie Nuckolls; dearest friend in the world, Glenda Stencel of Missouri City; four daughters, Tiffiny Ward of Friendswood, Christy Mahagan, Farrah Chelstrom, and Lindy Dukes all of Austin, and her four grandchildren, Brittany Ward, Caitlin Mahagan, Luke Chelstrom and Cassidy Mahagan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Teague, and brother, Robert Nuckolls. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M Friday, July 2, 2010 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home in Austin.
