Born January 6, 1961, in Houston, Texas. She passed away July 25, 2014, in Austin. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Houston and her Masters of Science Degree from Utah University in 1989. She worked as a Toxicologist for the State of Texas. Most recently she worked as a Medical Assistant .
She leaves behind her two sons Bradley and Erik Williams, parents James L. and Yvonne Saunders, sister and brother in law Karen and Bill Bernhardt and sister Kacey Saunders, and nephews Curtis Tyson, Braden Peckham and niece Kristina Field. Lisa had a quick wit and kind soul that those who had the honor of knowing her well will carry in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 Lamar, Austin, Texas, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Texas Children’s Hospital in honor of Lisa is requested.
