

Lloyd Roy White, age 69, of Austin, Texas passed away Sunday morning April 10, 2022. Lloyd was a man of great integrity, kindness, and intellect with a deep love for his family and close friends. He was most curious his whole life and believed there were always grand adventures to be planned.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and went to Arlington High School, graduating in 1970. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Alma White and sister Peggy Mongan. Survived by his beloved partner, Ginny Curry, sister and brother (in-law), Kay and Paul Larsen, his daughter, Laura White, and son, Ryan White.
Lloyd graduated from Purdue University in 1974 in Restaurant, Hotel and Tourism Management. Early in Lloyd’s career he was a successful entrepreneur in various enterprises. Additionally, later in his career he was involved in catering, country club and estate and house management positions. He is known for achieving positive results in his various roles. Problem solving and organization were among his greatest talents.
He was an accomplished Irish tenor and a Sir in the Purdue Glee Club, traveling internationally. He loved music and has continued to perform with various choral groups. His positive energy was most contagious. He enjoyed especially family, travel and collecting. He pursued life with vigor and joy and inspired those who knew him. Always a smile, a kind word and a twinkle in his eye, he will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who held him dear.
