

Lois Robinson, affectionately called “Baby, Granny, and Tiger” by friends and family, was born on the 26th of September 1934 in LaGrange, Texas to Floyd and Almeda Robinson Moore. She was the only child born to this union. Lois attended Austin Public Schools and graduated from Anderson High School. She attended Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama.
Lois met and married Richard Robinson in 1954 and traveled extensively during his military career. To this union one child, Carol Denise, was born. Lois professed her faith in Christ at an early age and she was charter member of Alpha Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years. Her missionary work took her to Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church in Elgin, Texas. Her love of Christ led her to help with the organizing of the Light Bearers Seventh Day Adventist Church. In Addition, she lent her musical talent to many other churches in the Austin area. To know her was to love her, always willing to help anyone in need. Often described as being a good listener, valued friend, mentor, devoted daughter, beloved mother, and cherished grand and great grandmother. Lois is survived by a devoted daughter, Carol Bowser, two grandsons, Michael and Paul Bowser, two great-grandchildren, Angelina and Preston Bowser, one special cousin, Mary (Sam) Scott Wilson of Houston, and many devoted friends and loved ones. The funeral services will be conducted eleven o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 16th of November 2010, at the Alpha Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3016 E. 51st Street, Austin, where Pastor Billy Wright will officiate.
