Lois Rotter was born in Williams, AZ on Feb 19th, 1922 and passed on Oct 20, 2008 while in Seton Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Gerald D. Rotter, daughter Sherri Wallin and spouse Clay, son Dave Rotter and spouse Annette, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. All loved and adored her immensely. Lois was a loving wife, mother, and grandparent to all of our family. She was married to her husband, Gerald, for over 65 years. She was caring beyond words and always had a smile and warm welcome for everyone. She always saw life as a cherished event and had a kind word to say about anyone. She indeed made everyone around her feel "good" inside, and she was always there when needed. She had many interests including sewing, coin collecting, and baking, but most of all, she was a terrific mother who made her family the Number One priority. She will be sorely missed, but will forever be in our hearts and minds. All of our family has been profoundly blessed by her commitment and love for us. It is now time for us to commit towards remembering her as she has done all these years in remembering each and everyone in our family. Our family would like to thank nurse Kerrie on the 4th floor and Charge nurse Bonnie on the 6th floor at Seton Hospital 38th St. for their love and compassion during her last days. They went above and beyond in providing special care for her and made her last days as comfortable as possible. May God bless mom and provide her the love that we all feel for her. May the words of "We love you so much mom" resonate each and every day. A memorial service will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home at 3125 N. Lamar Blvd., on Saturday November 1st at 2:00 p.m. Obituary and guestbook online at wcfish.com
