After growing up in La Grange, Texas, Lola married Leroy Bednar in 1942 and they moved to Austin, Texas in 1946 where they owned and operated Fashion Floors until his death in 1998. Lola would remain in Austin the rest of her life.
Lola will be remembered for her faith in God and devotion to her family as well as many friends. Her generous spirit was felt by all she encountered, and her heart touched many.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Bednar on August 25, 1998. She is survived by her four children, David and wife, Cindy, Linda Hart and husband Mike, sons Greg and Bryan, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
