

Lore M. Brock, age 72, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at her home in Austin. She was born on November 4, 1939 in Austria to Arnold and Mary Dietrich, who precede her in death. At 16, Lore came to the US and graduated from high school in Binghamton, New York. She furthered her education and received a teaching degree from Cortland State in New York. She was married for 38 years to her devoted husband, Skip Brock, who precedes her in death. Up until her death, Lore worked at ETS-Lindgren in Cedar Park for over 10 years. She enjoyed playing cards and gambling, boating on Lake Travis, cooking and watching her grandchildren play sports. She was an avid Longhorn fan and loved to attend UT baseball games.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele and husband, Thomas Kahlich of Cedar Park; her son Preston and wife Cher Brock of Manachaca, and daughter Savaughna and grandchildren Brock and Katy Kahlich of Cedar Park. She is also survived by her brothers, Fred Dietrich of Vestal, New York and Tony Dietrich of Laconia, New Hampshire and nephews Chris and Scott Dietrich.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 24, 2012 from 6:00-8:00pm at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 1:00pm at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral home with internment to follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
