She leaves behind her three children: son Blake Lindeman, his wife Megan, and their daughters Eden and Riley; son Blaine Lindeman, his partner Lindsay Chedester, and his daughters Emily and Hailey; and daughter Amanda Holsomback.
Lory was born January 6, 1958 to Arthur “Gary” Schriber and Nancy Hoffman Schriber. She was preceded in death by her father, but also leaves behind her mother. She was the first born of seven children and will be greatly missed by her six siblings: brother, Arthur “Chip” Schriber, and five sisters, Wendy Lambert, Pamela Wootton, Jennifer Bengtson, Amy Gold, and Nancy McNally. Also grieving her death are her sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
While they were growing up, Lory devoted her time to taking care of her children. She was always supportive of everything they did and involved in all of their activities. In the process, she taught them how to care for others and how to be a good friend. Lory also loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a lover of all games and especially enjoyed playing cards.
After her children were grown, Lory began working for HEB and became a valued member of their family. She enjoyed spending her spare time attending her granddaughters’ sporting events. She also enjoyed a good beach trip and loved nothing more than sitting on the beach surrounded by her family as the waves rolled in.
The family would like to thank all of Lory’s doctors and the care professionals at St. David’s South, Encompass Rehabilitation, and Hospice Austin’s Christopher House.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations on Lory’s behalf to Hospice Austin’s Christopher House or the American Cancer Society.
