Loretta Hertel Wright, 46, Wife, Mom, Daughter, Homemaker and Nanny, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 21, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her presence on Earth will be poignantly missed, but Heaven rejoices at her arrival home. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Herman & Norma Hertel & Jim and Audie Hitchcock. Loretta was born in Austin, to, and survived by, Marvin and Altha Hertel of Buda; husband, Kent Wright; daughter and son, Bridget and Logan Williams; step-son and step-daughter, Ryan Wright and Adriana Longoria-Wright; brothers, Gary and Mike Hertel; sister, Glenda Griffin of Columbus; and numerous nieces and a nephew. Loretta loved children, and spent most of her life ministering to young children as an outstanding and very loved Sunday school teacher. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Christian Life Church, 4700 Westgate Blvd. Interment will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make contributions to the Loretta Wright memorial, Christian Life Church Children's Ministry department.
