Lorraine Louise Schmidt (Romansky), 78, who resided at New Hope Manor in Cedar Park,Texas, passed away on January 11, 2021. She was born to parents Sigmund Romansky and Marie Romansky (Leonardi) on June 16, 1942 in New York, New York.

In addition to devoting time to her children, Lorraine worked as an Executive Assistant for the majority of her career and was very involved in her church. She volunteered for a number of organizations such as Girl Scouts of America and the Fairhope Alabama Public Library. She was guardian to 2 adults with special/medical needs who had no family to care for them.

Lorraine is survived by her daughter Barbara (Mike) Klepfer; son Nick (Renee) Schmidt; son Robert Schmidt; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; niece Marge Stauffer and nephew Mike Stauffer. Her sister, Victoria Rose Grimm (Stauffer) preceded her in death.
