Constitutional, Christian citizen. Born in Ft. Worth, 10 March 1917, Lottie Bolling Hancock would pack many lifetimes into her 97 years. She chose roles of service and giving, always putting others first. She was a singer, a teacher, a pilot, a Red Cross Club Director, a Music Director for WVTR-Radio Tokyo, an intelligence officer, a legislative secretary, a concrete block company owner, a sister, an aunt, a wife, a mom and role model to many, and most importantly, to her daughter, Elaine.
Lottie was a woman of strong faith, never afraid to share that part of her life. She would let anyone know her opinion of the politics du jour and her belief in the U.S. Constitution. She was a vibrant individual, touching many lives, even until her death on 11 August 2014, in Austin. The world is a little darker without her light.
Memorial Service at 2:30 PM, 17 Aug, First Baptist Church, 901 Trinity, Austin, TX, under the direction of Cook-Walden.
