Lucille Ward

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, Kyle and Annie Woodland, her husband of 61 years, Morris Ward, her daughter and son-in-law, Lenora and Joe Cogbill, and her two sisters, Evelyn Smith, and Berma Wimberly.

Lucille is lovingly remembered by her brother, Darrell Woodland and wife Freda of Austin, daughter and son-in-law, Morcille and Robert Lawson of Decatur, Texas, along with her grandchildren, Debbie Watts and husband Dwayne, Roddy Lawson, Terri Bray and husband Doug, and Julie Ruff and husband Scott. She was also blessed with numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Lucille was born in Lockhart, Texas, on April 14, 1922. She worked as a supervisor at Retail Merchants Credit Bureau for many years.

Lucille enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr., Austin, Texas, 78749, on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., Burial to follow.
