Lucy Marie Williams

Born of Francisco and Maximinia Lopez on December 13, 1935, in Canadian Texas. She graduated from Canadian high school and later met her husband Robert Grey Williams. She went on to receive degrees of the highest order from her creator in love, compassion, sharing and caring for all those around her. She was an avid member of her church choir and other church organizations. Lucy was an integral part of hope that our world deeply needs.

Lucy possessed a relentless drive to help others around her less fortunate and her home was always open offering love and compassion to many. Funeral services are to be held locally in Austin on Thursday, August 11, 2016. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Lucy is survived by four children Robert, Ann, John and Laura and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Showering them all with love and sculpting them with her individual unique recipe that only she could provide.

The family extends an invitation to all who knew her to celebrate her life and the start of her new journey to join her husband, three grandchildren and her creator from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Celebration will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 11, 2016, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.

In lieu of flower the family requests that contributions be made to Christopher House and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
