She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Maclovio Estrada; her mother, Marcelina Estrada; and her baby brother Maclovio Estrada, Jr.
She leaves behind her husband of 49 years, Carlos Gutierrez; her two sons, Carlos Gutierrez Jr. and his wife Lesa of Austin, TX; Chris Gutierrez of Cedar Creek, TX, and her daughter, Christina Niedecken and her husband, Randy of Elgin, TX. She also leaves behind her three grandchildren Joseph Lee Gutierrez of Cedar Creek, TX; Sarah Jessica Niedecken and Michael D’Anthony Niedecken of Elgin, TX; her sister Lorenza Gutierrez of Brackettville, TX and a brother Jose Estrada of Camp Wood, TX along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Funeral services for Marcelina will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home at 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752.
