

Mrs. Margaret Mary "June" Boiko a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother was born June 20, 1933 in Somerville, MA to John and Rose Flynn, passed away on February 26, 2010. June married William Gregory Boiko on November 25, 1954. Attended Catholic University and graduated as a Registered Nurse. She was an active volunteer with The Red Cross, was a school nurse in Nebraska, and worked as a nurse at The Brown School System, The Oaks Treatment Center for 25+ years. She was selflessly active and served in various capacities at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church. As a Military wife she lived in Japan for three years, returned to the US, began her Family in Florida, moved around several states and finally settled in Austin, Texas. June is survived by her husband, William Gregory; her sister, Kathleen Winn and husband Richard; her six children, William Gerard and wife Rosa, Fr. John Gregory, Stephen Edward, Paul Michael and wife Leigh Anne, James Neil, Magda and husband Craig Hoffman; her grandchildren, Mauricio and Fernando Gonzalez, Lydia Contreras, Samantha, Nicholas and Rebecca Hoffman; her great-grandchildren, Ayden and Nayah Gonzalez, Tatyana Contreras. Vigil services/Rosary will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, Wednesday, March 3 at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, on Thursday, March 4 at 10:45 am.
