Margaret Ann Webb Denniston

Margaret Ann Webb Denniston passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2008. She was born on February 26, 1922 in Vienna, Maryland to Clay and Nelle Webb. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the college of William and Mary. She married Joseph Faries Denniston, III on June 26, 1948. Ann started her family in Maryland and later moved to Austin, Texas. She was a devoted wife and mother and was also an active volunteer in church and civic life. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Mac and Walter, her sister Marian, her husband Joe, and her daughter Ann. Survivors include three sons, Denny, Webb, and David and his wife Maribeth; five grandchildren, Christopher Denniston and his wife Laura, Jodie Humphries and her husband Kirk, Jennifer Fikes and her husband Joel, Jay Denniston and Daniel Denniston; three great-grandchildren, Samantha and Gus Fikes, and Keira Humphries; nieces, Linda, Pat, Chris, Debby, Nina, Susan, and Katie; extended family members Julie, Ginger, Jeannette, Allyne, Erica, and Diana; and her caregiving team Emily, Nora, Catherine, Jamilla, and Josephine. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd with the Reverend Kelly Koonce officiating.
