An amazing “Mother to All”, Margaret J. Pinto hugged, laughed and prayed her way through 93 years of life. Peacefully with her much-loved daughter by her side, she accepted the Lords invitation on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
Margaret was born May 3, 1920, in Oatmeal, Texas, to Margaret Louisa McLoud and Robert Wilson Robinson.
From her home in Austin Texas, life was celebrated with family and friends. Everyone who entered was met with a smile and left with one too. From her hallmark Thanksgiving dinners to comedy affair Christmas’s to Longhorn Football games to impromptu gatherings she filled hearts with fond memories that will be cherished forever.
She worked tirelessly for 57 years as a Mother protecting and caring for her disabled son. Who taught who to bless misfortune and rejoice at every opportunity only the Lord knows now. That belief and faith that she held so dear is why so many were drawn to her and that her adopted family never ceased to grow.
As she moves on we can only smile at the thought of her reunion with Alfred Dwayne Gentry her adored son and her beloved husband Stanley Pinto, not to mention her eleven siblings that preceded her. So many waiting, what a celebration it must have been. Through so many years, she never wavered and she never questioned where she would someday reside.
Margaret Pinto is survived by her daughter and husband, Anita and Jerry Mester and their children and families, Steve and Lisa Mester and their children Aly, Chris, and Jennifer and David and Leslie Mester and their children Tawney Suttles, Joann Mester, and Jack Mester.
She is also survived by her great-great grandchildren, Kaiya, Kinsley, Zoe, Aiden, Adrian Jr.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Fuentes of Western Hills Church of Christ to officiate. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Margaret to the American Heart Association, 1100 E. Campbell Road, Ste 100, Richardson, Texas 75081, (972) 690-5149.
We love you Nana.
