Margaret Elizabeth Betty Wells, age 83, of Austin passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2005. She was born September 28, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Margaret Duff Scherer. Her husband, Frank Wells, preceded her in death. Betty is survived by her daughters, Debra Ply of Austin, Texas and Linda Wells of San Francisco, California; her son, Terry Wells of Canton, Michigan; brother, Arthur Scherer of Austin, Minnesota; grandchildren, Eric and Chris Ply, Tara Ply, Amber Bonam and Kevin Wells; and one great-grandson, Samuel Wells. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2005 at Great Hills Baptist Church with Dr. Harold OChester officiating.
