Margie Marie Corse

She was proceeded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Corse, her parents, Ben and Hattie Morgan, brother, Eugene Morgan and sisters, Elnora Cummins, Vivian Touchstone, Bobbie Smykal, and Lillie Cummings.

Margie is survived by her son, Richard Corse of Dallas, his wife Cathy and grandsons Andrew and Winston. She is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and a loving host of wonderful friends.

Margie served as a volunteer nurse’s aide with the Red Cross during World War II and was employed for 26 years with the Texas Employment Commission, retiring in 1995. But it is her work for the Lord that defines her life, having taught Sunday and Vacation Bible School for over 70 years both in Austin at Hyde Park Baptist Church as well as her current church home, Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute generously of both your time and money to the children's ministry at your church. And the children sang, "Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so."
