Olivia Riojas was called to heaven on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, while in the hospital. She passed away while fighting an illness at the age of 83. She is reunited with her mother Refugia Riojas, and cousin Georgia Esquivel, who was like a sister to her, and eldest son Frank Cantu Jr.
She is survived by her children from her first marriage, Dora Cantu, Mary Sue Cantu, Isabel Trujillo, and Joe Cantu, followed by the remaining children of Randy Pfeil, James K. Pfeil, Eric Valenzuela and his wife Isabel, Joann Hernandez and her husband Erik, Debra Ellington, and her husband Verdie. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Mary Eva Ortiz.
Olivia retired after working for the Travis High School food service for 20 years. Of everyone who knew Olivia, they know she loved to chat, share stories, and laugh while drinking her coffee. She also enjoyed window shopping, cooking, and baking.
Fly high to heaven, as you are not in pain anymore. You were always so loving and joyful. Rest in peace grandma Olivia.
