He was a great professor at SHSU.  I had him for P Chem.  Hard material, great prof, great guy.  Greatly missed!

Erin & Adam,  So sorry for your loss.  Dr. Banta meant a lot to me and I enjoyed working for him in the Chemistry Dept.

I was always fond of Dr. Banta and am saddened by his passing.

So sorry for the loss of Calvin.  I got to visit with him a couple of times, and enjoyed every minute we had together talking about our jobs. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family, may the Lord ease their pain and give them strength.
