Marion Nichols (Mi-Mi, Granny), passed away on August 14, 2007. She passed peacefully after visiting with all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was blessed with life for 88 years. Marion Nichols was born on March 13, 1919 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Josephine and Gilbert Wells. She was the 4th of five siblings. She was preceded in death by her late husband Howard Nichols. Marion has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, too many to name. Marion (Mi-Mi, Granny) had tremendous courage, compassion, and a will to survive under extreme circumstances. Others will remember her as quick-witted, alert, warm and independent. She was a source of comfort to all. Wake service will be held from 7:00 pm 9:00 pm on Friday, August 17, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 11:00 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
