Marjorie M. Cherry Marjorie M. Cherry, age 82, passed away on November 18, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Houston, TX on July 22, 1925. She is preceded in death by her parents Philip and Minnie Miller of Alvin, TX and her husband Robert W. Cherry of Austin, TX. Marjorie is survived by daughter Linda Gifford and husband James of Del Valle, TX and son Scott Cherry and wife Sue of Carrollton, TX. Three grandchildren, James R. Gifford and wife Fatimah, Lauren Cherry and Spencer Cherry. Two great-grandchildren Elijah and Micah Gifford.
