Marjorie Mae Brydson Ramsey

Marjorie Mae Brydson Ramsey, age 92, peacefully passed away on September 22, 2007. Marjorie was born November 13, 1914 in Austin Texas to Burt and Blanche Brydson. After graduating from Austin High School she attended the University of Texas and married Raymond Ramsey. After marriage, Marjorie lived her entire life in Austin where she raised her family and made many dear friends. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, wonderful mother and grandmother and a caring friend. Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ramond Ramsey, daughter in law Linda Ramsey, sister Lucille Pardue, and granddaughter Patricia Ramsey. Marjorie is survived by her son Tim Ramsey and wife Sue, her son Russ Ramsey, her daughter Carolyn Ramsey, her granddaughter Suzanne Ramsey Johnson and husband Clay, her grandson Charlie Ramsey and wife Tracy, and her great-granddaughters that brought her much joy, Patricia, Avery Anne, and Caroline Johnson and Kylee Ramsey. Visitation will be Monday, September 24, 2007 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar. A private graveside service will follow at a later date. Memorials in Marjorie's honor may be made to The Helping Hand Home for Children (3804 Avenue B, Austin, TX 78751) or a charity of your choice. Flowers will be enjoyed and shared with Brighton Gardens of Austin after the services.
