

Marjorie LaNelle Williams, 89, peacefully passed away on September 22, 2017 in Austin, Texas. She was born in Runge, Texas on November 20, 1927 to Charles Dudley Campbell and Grace Truman Clark Campbell. On September 1, 1950, she married Marcus E. Williams Jr. in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Marjorie was a loving wife, mother, meemaw and great grandmother who loved her family well and all of their friends well, and gave of herself endlessly. Her love for God was evident. She volunteered many years in the Great Hills Baptist Church Women’s Retreat Ministry. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School on several mission trips. Some of her favorite moments were with her family’s feet under her table, and no one left her house empty handed.
Marjorie is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 67 years, and her two daughters, Nelda Brack and husband Bev of Brenham, Texas, and Adrienne Steinocher and husband Chuck of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Christi (Randall), Robert (Kristen), Aaron (Mandi), Joseph (Katy), Elizabeth, Anna (JD) and eleven great grandchildren and one sister Joyce Peachy of Pleasanton, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Grace, and three brothers, Lanham, Charles and Dudley.
The family would like to thank the staff and care givers of Home Instead and Encompass Hospice for their diligent and loving care over the past few years.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Great Hills Baptist Church, 10500 Jollyville Rd, Austin. Donations in Marjorie’s name to Encompass Hospice, 5900 Southwest Parkway, Suite 4420, Austin, Texas 78725.
