Obituary of Marshall Fant
Charles Marshall Fant, age 35 of Austin passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. He was born on December 20, 1984 to Wayne and Lynette Fant in Austin, Texas. He attended Travis High School, Crockett High School and graduated from Garza High School in Austin Texas, attended Austin Community College, pursuing a degree in Graphics Design. Marshall was an amazing artist. He loved to cook and try new recipes. He enjoyed going to Barton Springs with his trusty canine companion, Lamar. Marshall is survived by his daughter, Nora Kaylyn Vinyard-Fant, (mother, Jennifer Vinyard); parents, Wayne and Lynette Fant; sisters, Emily Hamilton and Brooklynn Fant. Special thanks to the Aldrich51 staff, Community First Staff, and the first responders for all that they did. Committal Service 11:00 am on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Forest Oaks Cemetery. ASL Interpreters provided. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Community First Village (https://mlf.org/ways-to-give/) or NAMI Central Texas (https://namicentraltx.org/donate/) Currently, due to the substantial public risk, city and state government mandates that social gatherings of limited amounts may occur with strict social distancing protocol. Current COVID protocols for Travis County, guests must wear protective masks at all times while inside the funeral home facility and practice the recommended six foot social distancing. Weed-Corley-Fish South will limit our capacity to 60 guests at a service while enforcing all distancing and hygiene standards. We appreciate your understanding.
