Martha Reese Milligan Nears

Martha Reese was born on September 23rd, 1917 in Bastrop Tx to Peter Reese and Carrie Jackson Reese. Martha spent most of her younger life in Bastrop County with her siblings. Martha completed the 6th grade. Martha was a loving and caring person that later met Felix Milligan. They were married and had twelve children together. Martha was preceded in death by her, mother, father, first husband Felix Milligan, second husband Henry Nears, sisters : Claire Bell Reese Finning, Ruthie Reese, Daisy Reese Duvall, Elnora Reese, brothers: Merlin Reese and L. W. Reese, sons: Jacob Milligan, Charles Milligan, and Dennis Milligan. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, Seven loving siblings: three sons, Finish Milligan Jr., (Wanda Lee) Robert Milligan, both of Austin, TX, Donald Ray Milligan (Maria) of Halletsville, Texas and four daughters: Carrie Washington Kirby, Verdell Hunt (Joe), Lue Trejo Pearson (Donald Ray)Gwendolyn Hunter, All of Austin, Texas, four sisters, Purina Reese Habit in Manor Tx, Pasty Reese Lucky(Freddie)in Granger TX, Dr. Anna Reese Onyekwuluje (Osi) Bowling brook KY, Nell Reese Williams(KT)in Granger TX, and her 2 brothers Rev Billy Ray Reese (Dollie)in Pflugerville TX, Rev. Lee L. Reese(Annie) in Granger TX; Martha had twelve children. From these loving children, she was blessed to have Fifty Three grandchildren, One hundred forty seven great grandchildren, one hundred sixty six great great-grandchildren. And last but not least, Martha Milligan -Nears received the Honor of being a Great-Great-Great Grandmother to one child who is name Bailee Washington Caldwell.
