Mary Jane Boatright

Mary Jane married Charles Sidney Boatright on June 21, 1950, and they were married for 51 years. She worked at the Texas Highway Department of Motor Vehicles. She also was a member of Crestview Methodist Church and had a passion for country music and dancing.

Mary Jane is preceded in death by her husband Charles Boatright, her parents, and her grandson Brandon Boatright.

Mary Jane is survived by her daughter DeAnne Peterson and husband David, her son Dan Boatright and wife Sandra, her brother Edwin Goodwin “Bubba” and her grandchildren Allyssa Joy Tivis and husband Brandon, Tiffany S. Melcher and husband Toby, Monica L. McKeever and husband Josh, great-grandchildren Trinity and Tristan Melcher, Lola Jane McKeever.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Followed by a graveside service conducted at 2:00 pm in the afternoon on Saturday, the 21st of November 2015, at Haynie Chapel Cemetery in Garfield, Texas.
