Mary C. Bradshaw, a lifelong resident of Austin, TX, was called home to heaven on May 16, 2018 at the age of 84. Mary was born in Austin on September 3, 1933 to Samuel and Laverne Cummings. She passed on many life lessons, but none more important than providing unconditional love and support to her family and sharing the message of Jesus Christ's saving grace. Deep in faith, she loved life, family, and friends and always saw the best in other people. Mary was giving and unselfish, with a kind heart and loving cheerfulness to all in need.
During her working years Mary was employed by the Texas Highway Department, St. Edwards University, Featherlite Corporation and Bob Dolson CPA practice. In retirement, Mary's favorite hobbies were cooking up the best recipes in Austin, tending to her flower gardens and spending quality time with family and friends.
Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her and will always remain close in our hearts. We look forward to someday seeing her again in heaven, flashing her magnificent smile and making others feel at home just being in her presence.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Laverne Cummings, her former husband and father of her children, Brad Bradshaw, and her daughter-in-law, Shelley Kay Bradshaw. She is survived by her loving family: son Brent Bradshaw, daughter Brenda Hernandez and husband Nash Hernandez Jr., grandchildren Victoria Bradshaw, Olivia Bradshaw, Francesca Hernandez, Renee Cutchen and husband Luke Cutchen, Andrea Miller and husband Troy Miller, great grandchildren, James Jankowski, Samuel Jankowski, Natalie Jankowski and Logan Miller.
