Mary Gray Eli

Mary Gray Crane Eli, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2007. She was born on December 28, 1914 in Creedmoor, Texas to William Henry Crane and Viola Boring Crane. Mary Gray was married to John Carl Eli on September 22, 1934. She graduated from Buda High School on July 6, 1933. Mary Gray is predeceased by husband John Carl Eli; Sisters: Margaret Dodson, Annie Lock, Edith Kieke, Charolette Jones, and Kathryn Harrison; Brothers: Newt Crane, F. M. ‘Big’ Crane, and Jack Crane; Grandon: Russell Eli. Mary Gray is survived by her children: David Eli and wife Betty, Laura Lee Strayer and husband Kip; Bob Eli and wife Ellen; John Eli and wife T.J.; brothers: Dudley Crane and wife Ellen, Skeeter Crane and wife Irene, John Crane and wife Bo; grandchildren: Linda Hopkins, Sidney Eli, Nancy Irby, Kevin Eli, Donna Sue Diver, Danny Stober, J. T. Eli, Alice Smith, Kyle Eli and Sarah Groves; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday July 19, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday July 20, 2007 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Chapel. Internment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park, Austin, Texas.
